E3 Watch: My Own Speculation

In a few days, E3 will once again take stage and the gaming world will be watching. July 14 to be exact. There are a few things I am looking forward to. First off, I am wondering what surprises Sony will be making. I myself am speculating a price drop in the hardware.

Speaking of price drops, the Xbox 360 should be dropping in price in the next few weeks. I also think Sony will have some announcements on some killer games. I hope they talk about God Of War 3. Maybe they will also show how Killzone 2 is coming along. Also, expect to see some sort of announcement on their "Home" software.

Microsoft will probably show off some more games the machine is bringing out. I'm going to guess maybe a GOW 2 playable demo. We'll also see Fable 2 and probably other goodies. They might announce that the rest of the video marketplace will be released in Canada and Europe. Who knows, they might even show a hand held.

Nintendo I think will be the one to show the least this year, or at least, show the "already been done and seen". I can't really see Nintendo doing much, but if I were to guess, I would say their DS will be in the spotlight. With so many DS owners, I believe they will show off new games and ideas. FYI, the Guitar Hero DS controller is kinda cool, but looses it's glamor. They might have new Mario related games, who knows.
